I’ve been very inspired by teaching a workshop in April on screen printing on ceramics that I’ve burned a bunch of new screens. (At last look there were 4 spots available). I’ve also been inspired by teaching beginning pottery (back again for summer classes) and am making new porcelain vase shapes. Of course the one on the left, Chris said is very Chanda, so maybe not totally new😂

Sometimes in this biz you have to spend money on things you really don’t want to but the end becomes clearly apparent. I tried as long as I could to hold my dry clay to recycle back with my two-tone ska duct tape but alas a new can had to be bought. Also the OG can was a hand me down already from someone else who painted the recycle clay on the top of the bin. So I guess it’s been given a good run.😂

Workshop Alert!!! I am really excited to be teaching a class on Screenprinting on Clay on April 26th! I used to do a lot more screenprinting on my pieces as you can see from the two attached pictures, took a break from it and now I am burning new screens and making new pieces again. New mug alert!!! I started making from an obsession I’ve had for several years. It took me some time to get Procreate knowledge down to draw my scorpion. Then I had to learn how to use my machine to cut out the template for the . Then I ran many tests with different glazes and underglazes until voila! I settled on a mattte black glaze that thankfully doesn’t run. Anyway, I have three of these bad boys available for sale this weekend on our second weekend of our and ! If you want one to be shipped to you LMK right away so I can snag it from the shelf. I won’t be making more til next year.

I forgot to mention that my new animal mugs have also been made into bowls and that they also have mushrooms on the back of the mugs and exteriors of the bowls. 😊 I had a lot of fun with these obviously!!!

New animals dropping for Our gallery theme is “Animalia” so I decided to add some animals inspired by my April trip to The Lake District in England. We even went to a British bar called The Badger Bar which inspired me! Show opens this weekend Dec 7th and 8th. Chris will be playing guitar on the 7th in the morning!!!!
