ππΎ Together, We Pray ππΎ
At Phillips Temple CME Church, we believe there is power in prayer and strength in community. This week, we invite you to join us in lifting up those who are in need of God's comfort, healing, guidance, and peace.
As we continue praying for our Phillips Temple family and friends, we would also love to pray for you.
π How can we pray for you this week?
Leave your prayer request in the comments below. Whether it's for yourself, a loved one, or a situation close to your heart, our church family will join you in prayer.
"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." β James 5:16
As children adopted into God's family, we receive a new identity and eternal life. His Spirit lives within us, guiding, comforting, and empowering us to live righteously. Even when we stumble, all is not lost. We rise again as saints.
We come here seeking silence, to be refreshed and renewed. After the choir sings, remember to spend time with God, replenishing your spirit before stepping into what He calls you to do.
Paul encourages the Philippians to not only rejoice but to share in each other's burdens and celebrate God's faithfulness. This space is a house of prayer and worship, but more importantly, we are the church, coming together to support and celebrate one another.
You can't pour out what hasn't been poured in. God's word fills us, restores our souls, and purifies our hearts. May we be so firmly rooted in His word that others are naturally illuminated by it.
Approaching God with confidence is possible because He hears our prayers. Though it may not feel like it, He answers in His perfect timing, always being on time.

π Phillips Temple CME Church | Sunday Recap & Quote of the Week
This past Sunday, Phillips Temple CME Church gathered around a powerful and challenging message titled βJudgingβ from Matthew 7:1β5. Minister Nolan reminded us that Jesusβ words are not simply about avoiding judgment of others; they are a call to examine our own hearts before pointing out someone else's faults.
Too often, we are quick to notice the shortcomings of others while overlooking the areas where God is still working in us. Christ calls us to lead with humility, grace, self-reflection, and love. Before we criticize, condemn, or assume, we are invited to look inward and allow God to transform us first.
β¨ Quote of the Week:
"Before judging someone else's path, take a moment to examine your own walk with God."
As we move through this week, may we extend the same grace and mercy to others that we hope to receive ourselves. Let our words build up rather than tear down, and let our actions reflect the love of Christ in every interaction.
π We pray that this message encourages you to pause, reflect, and grow deeper in your relationship with God.

His grace is sufficient, and truly, nothing can separate us from His love or sn**ch us out of His hand. These profound truths anchor our souls throughout the Bible and offer us unwavering hope.
Paul highlights service as an act of worship, not depletion. Worship isn't just for Sundays; it's a lifestyle. It's happening when you're driving, at work, or serving your family. True worship is constant.
