Let us listen to the Ohlone ancestors and elders and contemporaries here on Lisjan territory on Turtle Island and learn how to come correct. To paraphrase indigenous leader and thinker Robin Wall Kimmerer, let us see our earth and all organisms as systems of care.

Let us listen to our Zapatista ancestors and elders and contemporaries who showed us and continue to show us that another world is possible, and she is being born every day out of both our imaginations for what is possible and also from our willingness to be disciplined in our practice of liberation.

The Tyranny of Dinner information sessions and worship series begins with a community workshop and dinner entitled “Land, Water, & People”, the first in our 8 months of workshops, intended to introduce our wider POL and Ira X communities to the work that we have done and plan to do over the next four years. It is also our celebration of Trans Day of Remembrance, asking folks to remember us now, rather than after we are gone. To remember a society where trans folks are beloved and included and normal, as WE ARE NOW in PEACE Out Loud communities.

It’s also an in-person dinner in Berkeley, and in your home town, hosted by us or by you.

It’s also a membership where folks in community help to support the work we do with their own contributions of funds, workshops, care, learning, and whatever else we can contribute.
