I’m so happy that this traditional Armenian head piece made it to one of my family members. This is a long time jewelry designer, Ann Gitlis, that re works pieces from the late 1800’ early 1900’s and makes them wearable again. This beautiful piece was converted into a necklace. The memories of being a kid and watching all the adults dance at the Oakland Armenian church came flooding back. Truly a beautiful piece. Ann Gitlis’ work keeps our traditions memorable.
