OWI was formally founded in order to make official, many years of non profit work in health, education and disaster relief in the Philippines and Cambodia. We have built and continue to help build communities where the men are productive bread winners; the women have rising levels of literacy; and the children have a promising future.

In the last 9 years after his death we have served more than 2M more in disasters and other projects! Thanks to our TEAM of volunteers and friends who have stuck together in service from our hearts.
You know who you are and what you’re done and are doing. Our children are all grown and their children will remember er and who knows but they may follow our footsteps.
Our global reach cannot be duplicated because our intentions and ties are pure, honest, sincere. Our hearts are tied as one. We are HAPPY because of it.
To belong to our team, you have to demonstrate the same spirit of humility and serve without publicity or personal performance.

Never thought why. But we remember the rice growers seeding fish in their paddies. Mud fish. Catfish. Tilapia. Whatever lived. The mud fish hibernated after harvest when the paddies were dry only to come to life as soon as the pads were flooded for planting. Watching mudfish come back from hibernation was fascinating.
There is something to learn every day from people worldwide who share their knowledge. We are closer to each other than we think.
To our villagers who make a living off the Earth, share your knowledge here if it benefits others. The earth and the food we share remind us we are all just humans passing through life.
