CodePINK is a grassroots womyn initiated, womyn led anti-war, pro-peace action oriented group
CODEPINK emerged out of a desperate desire by a group of American women to stop the Bush administration from invading Iraq. The name CODEPINK plays on the Bush Administration's color-coded homeland security alerts — yellow, orange, red — that signal terrorist threats. While Bush's color-coded alerts were based on fear and were used to justify violence, the CODEPINK alert is a feisty call for women and men to "wage peace."
Cecile Richards, awesome daughter of shera Ann Richards, died yesterday, escaping before having to continue sharing the air & space in our present travesty of justice and democracy.

We've flown from Lagos to Abuja yesterday and today we went to a huge vegetable & fruit market.
And a wonderful restaurant with delicious, healthy food from various peoples of Nigeria.
I can't wait to experience more.
Abuja is now the capital of Nigeria. Although the process of relocating the capital started in the middle 70's, the transition wasn't completed until 1991, when Abuja became the official capital.
The buildings here are among the most unique and as beautiful as a building can get. I will try to post some pics tomorrow.

No matter who won any election, we would still have to keep fighting.
Who remembers the "repatriation act" of the 1930's? Oh yah, and then the 1940's.
Only this time we were told before it happened that it is going to happen - if we want it to.
Let me ask this: what "legal" hoops did Europeans ever have to go through to immigrate to the u.s.ofa.? Only their skin color was their legal pathway.

"A driver found a box and a bag carrying early voting ballots in the middle of the road in Miami-Dade County, Florida, after an election worker forgot to lock the vehicle’s back door. The driver returned the ballots to a police station, and election officials said nothing had been tampered with or damaged."
In some other era, this might have been construed as a mistake. But in Florida??? Miami-Dade County: ground zero of Bush's election fraud...
