Deer Lord

The past 7 years have been a privilege. Being a part of a local scene, an underground scene, playing loud music with bright lights and supportive friends, making new friends, new memories, and seeing old friends that bring back old memories.
Being in a band isn’t easy. It’s a commitment that doesn’t always adhere to how life changes. And life does change in the blink of an eye sometimes. It’s a lot of work, a lot of logistics, a lot of networking, late nights, and expenses. But in the end, at the height of a show, on the final mix of a new album, on an album release day, it’s 110% worth it.
Thank you for being there to see us, buying our merch, listening to our music over the years. Deer Lord might have come to an end, but we hope you continue to blast the tunes on a long highway drive, in a dark forest, in the middle of the desert, or on another planet if you get the chance to go.

A message from Jared regarding his decision to part ways with Deer Lord. We understand this choice and have absolutely no hard feelings towards Jared, and wish him nothing but the best going forward.
As for us, Sheafer and Ryan, we will make a post soon on what we decide to do next, and what the future looks like for Deer Lord.
