While we were building Julia's art studio, she had nowhere to work on her paintings. So the build crew started setting aside construction remnants, like wood offcuts and Hardie board, for her to use as canvases. She made a whole body of work from them.⁠

Every morning, artist Julia () walks from her house to her studio, an ADU built by Type Five. She paints with her back to the window, but the view and garden still find their way into her paintings. ⁠

Isabel and Nick, full-time remote workers and soon-to-be parents of two, realized they were quickly outgrowing their home. To add square footage in the most cost-effective way, they decided to build an ADU. ⁠

The new space had to serve multiple purposes: host visiting friends and family, provide an area for working out and yoga, and serve as an office annex for everyday use. Working with a fixed budget and a specific floor plan, they looked for a partner who could deliver just the right amount of customization.⁠
