Something's crept into Tupper & Reed. 🕸️
On Halloween night, our historic building comes alive, or maybe it's the other way around. Cobwebs are creeping over every corner, the shadows have settled in, and both floors are open for you to wander… if you dare.

Grab a haunted cocktail; both floors will be open. DJ Swang will be spinning something wicked from 9PM to 1:30AM. At midnight, the runway opens, and the creatures of the night take the stage for our costume contest. Three categories: Scariest, Most Creative, and Best Group. The loudest screams decide who takes home a prize. Sign-ups close at 11:30PM. More details available on Eventbrite.

Negroni Week takes over Tupper & Reed 🥂

Negroni Week (Sept 21–27) is the annual global celebration where bars everywhere put their own spin on the classic Negroni — and this year, Tupper & Reed is going all in with four original riffs, available all week long, every day we're open.

Hawaiian Negroni — Orgeat, guava and passionfruit syrups, lime juice, Cocchi Torino Sweet Vermouth, Campari, and Barr Hill Tom Cat Gin, whipped with crushed ice and garnished with banana leaf and dusted cinnamon. Tropical and totally shareable.

Umeshu Negroni — White sugar syrup, Cocchi Americano, Apologue Saffron Spiced Liqueur, Raifuku Umeshu Plum Sake, and Gordon's Gin, stirred and topped with a lemon twist and marigold flower. Delicate, floral, and a little unexpected.

White Negroni — Saline solution, Cocchi Americano, Salers Gentiane, and Gordon's Gin, stirred and finished with a grapefruit twist. Clean, bright, and bitter in all the right ways.

Coffee Negroni — St. George Absinthe Verte, Borghetti Caffè, Xila Mezcal Liqueur, Dolin Dry Vermouth, Campari, and Rayu Joven Espadín Mezcal, stirred and finished with a grapefruit twist. Bitter, boozy, and buzzing.

August 6th, we welcome the Simon Aks Trio to the stage: a San Francisco-bred guitarist and rising senior in UCLA's Jazz Performance & Electrical Engineering programs, with a résumé that includes the California All-State Jazz Band, SFJAZZ High School All Stars, and the Brubeck Summer Jazz Institute, among others.

9pm–12am. No cover. 21+.

Good As Hell 🍑☀️
Warm nights call for something a little smoky, a little sweet, and entirely unforgettable. Good As Hell: a Berkeley original built on li-hing mui and lactic acid solutions, orange peel, vanilla, Licor 43, armagnac, umeshu, and a top of prosecco. Tart, funky, floral, and bubbly all at once.
