This year we are well into our fourth collaboration with Monica Guilbault Ream of Verner Architects. It also happens to be our third project with members of the same extended Bay Area family. The current project, shown here via rendering, is for a young and growing wing of the family based in Piedmont. Always a gift to find new ways to work with the clients and designers you know and love.

Taking a moment to spotlight one of our favorite local organizations Girls Garage – a nonprofit design and construction school for girls and gender-expansive youth in the Bay Area.
We’ve been proud to support this organization for the last few years, but this summer we got some first hand experience of their work: our principal Michael Van Lokeren’s daughters and niece attended two of their summer programs, and loved them both!
If you’re looking to support local orgs doing excellent work at the nexus of construction, gender equity, and youth empowerment, look no further than Girl’s Garage.
