GenEq, 202 Chavez, is one of the locations for this pilot project testing out the Equipad dispenser. Please find the dispenser in the GenEq hallway (follow the paw prints on the way to the GenEq community space and see it on the wall (right hand side between office 209 and 211).
GenEq will be open Tu/Wed/Th Dec 16-18, 10am-6pm and Fri Dec 19, 10am-3pm.

FREE Self Defense workshop: Bystander Intervention and Deescalation! Hosted by the Berkeley School of Social Welfare welfare and Gender Equity Resource Center.
You will learn strategies to safely intervene when you witness others experiencing harassment or other unsafe situations. You will also practice intervention strategies that keep participants and others safe, increasing your sense of confidence and ability to set boundaries, use your voice, break group freeze, and mobilize group assistance. Workshop by IMPACT Bay Area .

Need to lock in before finals? Or maybe take a break before studying? Whatever you're looking for - study spaces, community, support, free food - GenEq has plenty to go around! During RRR week on Tuesday, Dec. 10th through Thursday Dec. 12th, the Gender Equity Resource Center will be open for study jams for students to come study, be in community, and even snag some free food and wellness supplies* (distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis).
December 1st is World AIDS Day, an international day of recognizing those who are living with HIV/AIDS, bringing awareness towards prevention efforts, and advocating for more equity in access to treatment.
