I’m excited to be part of the inaugural OAC Music Series, “The Gallery Sessions,” at Co-Founders Maija Kellner-Rode & Claire Brislin, a new live music series bringing artists and audiences together for intimate performances, conversation, and live Q&A.

The series features an incredible lineup of musicians, and Season Passes are available now through the first show in October. A Season Pass gets you into every show in the series, including mine!

Co-Founders Maija Kellner-Rode & Claire Brislin is a nonprofit creative arts center in Bend’s Central District creating accessible opportunities for artists, teens, and adults through music, workshops, mentorship, exhibitions, and other creative programs. Supporting the series helps make those opportunities possible, including a new free Teen Songwriting & Mentorship Program launching this winter which will culminate in the February performance.

If you were out and about at Bend Roots Revival last weekend, chances are you saw a set featuring Patrick Ondrozeck.

We’re not sure he ever left the Roots grounds. Over ten sets across three days with a different band nearly every time. At some point it stopped being a schedule and started resembling a hostage situation.

But that’s Pat. Somebody needs a player, he learns the tunes, he shows up, and the whole band sounds better for it.

Pat is one of the kindest, most generous people we know. He roots for everybody. Steelhead and TEB are both lucky to have him on stage, and luckier to call him a friend.

So for his birthday he requested a night off where he only has to play with two bands.

Bend Roots Revival is one of my favorite weekends of the year, and I’m sending it hard for the 20th anniversary. Honored to be sitting in with so many great acts and humbled by the caliber of folks I get to share stages with. This festival is built by musicians for musicians, it’s free, and every dollar it raises goes back into music education for Central Oregon kids. These are some of the sets you’ll find me at!

I’ve been quietly piecing together an acoustic album, and Dylan Bernal and Pat Pearsall have been generous enough to work on it with me.

Wednesday’s our first gig! It’s also our first time at the_waywest, one of the newest spots in Bend, so come check the place out with us. 8/27, 6:30.

Sunday evening on the west side! I’ll be at 10 Barrel West Side Pub this Sunday the 23rd at 5pm playing some solo tunes on the patio. Hope to see ya there!
