until 2018 ... await the big reveal!

yesterday i had a blast doing this amazing, witchy lady's hair for the ... braids and felted dreads by aka ... in the process we mostly reminisced about our past lives together as ... ha, i love my life!

remember when I caught a and it lent me a lock of its tail-hair!!

all in a day's work!

= butterfly-inspired feathers! mine are on the end of a braid down at the neckline of my hair, and then when i wear the rest of my hair up, i leave these little ditties flying free!

first river swim of the season! feathers and stay in even as you venture out to commune with Mama Earth this summer!

first, thank you SO MUCH to for hosting such an first friday last night! we and and our musicians are so to have gotten to be a part!

and secondly, you might never guess what new local favorite store is?! "fly and field outfitters" ... yep, one of our local fly fishing stores! and "why?!" you wonder? not only do they sell rad feathers, if i need supplies at the last minute, but also, it's the place where i got myself hooked up with all the equipment i need to tie together all these fancy feathers, hair and sparkle tinsel! who would have known a fly-tying vise and some thread-holder-knot-tying gadgets would be the answer to many of my "how to" questions?! this is one of my new favorite designs, which utilizes some of the from what i cut out of other extensions that were too long on someone!
