Thanks to everyone who came out to our record release party in Carson last night. It was great to see everyone and the record store sold out of vinyl! There’s still some copies available from at , and we just uploaded the remastered files — which includes two extra tracks from the original — to our . (Someone went new boot goofin with one of those genuine ostrich sh*tkickers. 👢)

I love watching those videos of people who know the law and shut down cops’ illegal behavior.

Back in February of 1996, Zoinks was on tour through the south. Bob was driving and we got pulled over in Mississippi. The cop said he pulled us over because dispatch got a call that our van was swerving all over the road. Bob told the cop that we just got on the highway, so it couldn’t have been us swerving. The cop then asked if he could search the van. Bob said “no.” The cop said it was routine, and they do it all the time. Bob again said, “no.” The cop then asked why, and Bob told him, “I don’t believe you have any reason to believe that we have anything illegal in this van and I don’t consent to a search.” The cop said “okay,” and we drove off.

I was amazed and how the situation resolved and how calm Bob was during the stop. We still got pulled over multiple more times as we drove through Alabama and Florida. Never once got a ticket…just needlessly harassed. 🖕
