Bend Racing 4 Hour Fuel in some white water action 🌊 just crushing in our Blue Duck Packrafts

Here's a quick update from the BendRacing/4HourFuel 24/7 analysis &Cheer squad on what's been happening with our team and others these past couple of hours.

In shorts. It's been a very interesting race to watch unfold. And we have not been quite able to figure out our teams tactic. They seem to be taking more rest and time in TAs but then catch up pretty quickly so we are thinking this is their strategy and the best way they can race strong, with focus and have some fun which were their stated goals.

From one of our main analyzers - Jerome G-D (who recently won Wilderness Traverse- whom Alexandre Provost , Karine Corbeil, Arnaud Côté Boisvert and won last year.

"Storms came over the island. The Paddle got cut, all teams called ashore. And the rope sections got cancelled. Wet, slippery and whiteout conditions up in the alpine. Only 6 teams made it through the ropes. I think Absolu Raid ( #20) and Tactical foodpack ( #8) did only partial ropes (they did not track to K23).

BR around 8-10th place. Still to be clarified because of cut ropes sections. However- appear to move strong and steady. They have slightly longer CP/TA times than others since leaving on this trek. But they do catch up to people as soon as they move. Which does looks like it is their strategy.

As I am writing this the team is standing on top of Monte Cinto, the highest peak of Corsica 🙌🏼

Lots of changes over night as we slept, a storm that caused the ropes and canyon points to be canceled and some major shuffling around of teams. Team BR/ 4HF moved up to 7/8 place and seem to be moving well.. as far as a dot watchers perspective at least. The WHOLE BR Cheer squad is on the analysis 24/7 - as we have our crew stationed all over the world.

What a sport, what a team, and what a race.

We are cheering NON stop for you all.

Bend Racing/4HourFuel moving steady and smart.

Currently 13th, with top 10 within reach during this monster trek stage. Fast time estimate is over 24 grueling hours climbing two high peaks with an embedded ropes section, so they are carrying all the gear!

They appear to have clocked a good amount of sleep, which has resulted in good, solid nav. It appears that the 4 teams ahead of them have not slept as much, which could give BR/4HF an edge in the early hours!

Stay strong team! BELIEVE!

Excuse our absence with the updates. It's been a big week for us at HQ. The team is moving along steadily and have the most sleep out of ALL the teams on the course 😮😅. We are hoping this tactic works out well for them as they only have 1.5 hours left to serve on their sleep card.

Currently they are within striking distance of the top ten (3ish km behind 10th place on the paddle).

Lots more racing, lots of more decisions and navigation to do.

We are loving the media coming out of Adventure Racing World Series 🙏🏼.
