Central Oregon homeowners are seeing escrow increases they didn't expect — even on fixed-rate mortgages.

Property taxes in Deschutes County rose approximately 8% in 2024-25. Oregon homeowners' insurance is up 30% since 2020. Only 16% of Bend households can currently afford to buy at market rates.
