Face to Face ..... what an incredible animal the bison is... i was 6ft away from this massive beast, nose to nose, on a cold, crisp, fall morning... half of his face was still frosted up while the other half warmed in the rising sun.. a moment ill never forget!!

Ole Morning Glory! This pool used to be an amazing crystal clear blue color... but due to people throwing lucky coins, garbage, and other debris into it the vent has been partially blocked causing the temperature to drop and microbes and algae to bloom... even so its an amazimg feature to see!!

The first morning in Wyoming was foggy, complete overcast, and absolutely no chance of showcasing the amazing Tetons as they werent visible and i hadnt even been able to see them yet!... as i drove around looking for a break in the fog a glow from the forest caught my eye... turned out to be a shot that i REALLY have fallen in love with!!

Before i begin to post the photos from my recent Teton/Yellowstone trip i wanted to acknowledge the pain and anquish that we returned to the very night the fires were blown out of control by the high winds on the West Coast. Sadly it is going to take decades for our amazing forests and beautiful states to heal... my heart goes out to all of the people/animals/and nature that have lost so much during all of this... keep your head up and keep fighting one day at a time!
