Most athletes are chasing the newest supplement… while missing the basics that actually impact performance.
Vitamin D plays a major role in: 🦴 Bone health 💪 function ⚡ Recovery 🛡️ Immune health 🏃 Athletic performance
And a lot of athletes — especially in Bend & Central Oregon — may not be getting enough.
If your athlete is: Always tired, Getting sick often, Recovering slowly, Dealing with shin pain or stress injuries …it may be worth checking a simple lab: 👉 25-Hydroxyvitamin D
At OC Sports Performance, we believe performance starts with the foundation.
Train hard. Recover well. Measure what matters.

The best time to start training was yesterday. The second best time is today.
Young athletes who start strength and performance training early build advantages that compound for years.
When athletes learn proper movement, strength, speed, coordination, and recovery habits at a young age, they set themselves up for:
• Better athletic performance in high school
• Increased confidence and resilience
• Lower injury risk throughout sports
• Greater opportunities to compete at the college level
• Long-term health and strength into adulthood
Training is not just about becoming a better athlete now — it is about building a foundation that lasts for life.
The athletes who make the biggest jumps in high school and college are often the ones who started developing these habits early. Progress takes time, and the sooner you begin, the more time you have to grow.
At OC Sports Performance, we are focused on long-term athlete development — helping athletes build strength, speed, discipline, and confidence for every stage ahead. 💪

Recovery IS training.
At OC Sports Performance, we constantly monitor speed, jumps, and performance metrics because fatigue shows up before most athletes realize it.
The athletes who last the longest are the ones who recover the best.
Strength training is one of the most effective tools athletes have for injury prevention.
Does it eliminate all injuries? No. Sports are unpredictable. But research consistently shows that athletes who strength train are more resilient, move more efficiently, and reduce their overall injury risk.
Building strength improves joint stability, tendon and ligament resilience, coordination, force absorption, and movement mechanics. These are all critical for keeping athletes healthy through a long season.
And when injuries do happen? Stronger athletes often recover and return to play faster because they have more muscle mass, better tissue capacity, and a stronger foundation to rebuild from.
At OC Sports Performance we train athletes for more than performance…we train for durability, longevity, and resilience.🔥

Getting stronger isn’t about random workouts.
It’s about challenging your body consistently and training with intention. Small progress adds up when you stay consistent and focus on quality movement. 💪
That’s the difference between exercising and truly training. Come TRAIN with us!
Strength training won’t “stunt growth”…that’s a myth that needs to go.
When done correctly, training actually helps young athletes build stronger bones, improve coordination, reduce injury risk, and gain confidence in how they move. It’s not about lifting heavy weights, it’s about learning good movement, control, and body awareness early.
The result? Kids who run faster, jump higher, and stay healthier doing the sports they love.
We offer classes from 7 years old and up- get stronger, faster and injury prevented with us at OC Sports Performance!

Speed isn’t something you hope improves—it’s something you measure.
At OC Sports Performance, we treat sprinting like strength training. If you want to get stronger, you track weights. If you want to get faster, you track times.
That’s why we test every month, record every sprint, and publish results. Not to create pressure—but to create clarity, accountability, and real progress.
Because when athletes can see their improvement, everything changes.
If you’re serious about getting faster, you need more than effort—you need a system.
