Graphic Design and Digital Illustration - Good design is a lot like fishing – both involve the pursuit of something elusive, but attainable.
I have been drawing, illustrating and designing as far back as I can remember. The daughter of an architect and a fashion designer, I have enough creative genes to fill a closet! My work experience began with a position as designer in a print shop setting in 1980. I have been in the design business ever since then, including some previous freelance years and many years at a local agency. My roots are in print design, but I have gained on-the-job experience over the years in designing for web, as well as involvement in radio and tv advertising and have been swimming in the social media world as well. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I am learning the ropes in Dreamweaver.

Collage! A different creative brain exercise. I'm trying to stretch and play beyond my computer screen. ❤️

As 2025 comes to a close, I am looking forward to a year with more time for creative play and exploration. I want to try new mediums, new papers, new photos and new ways to share them.
May the year ahead bristle like a thistle with brave ideas!

So, this just happened! I had the pleasure and honor to work with a local author, Annie O'Connor, to illustrate her children's story quite recently. She and her husband Brian, have self-published the first round of copies and they are now printed and I am so excited to have a few in hand! It's a great little story with a good moral to it - aimed at 3-6 year olds. I'm really happy to have some grandchildren at the right age to share this with. If you're interested let me know. They are reasonably priced and I can get you connected.
