As part of Try Transit Week, CET and the City of Bend will be at Central Library today from 1–4 pm with transit information, free goodies, and a bus for visitors to explore.

With Central Library up and running (thanks for making the first two weeks so magical–and busy!!), it's a good reminder to slow down and appreciate our smaller branches. The cozy, quiet Sisters Library is a great place to curl up with a new book 🥰

Libraries = Community ❤️
Earlier this month, the Redmond Library hosted a Volunteer Expo, pairing members of the community with volunteer positions at over 30 local organizations including: Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity, CASA, Healing Reins, Camp Fire, Juniper Group Sierra Club, and dozens more!
Thank you to all of the organizations that participated and to all the community members looking for places to donate their time and energy. We love fostering connection and community in and outside of the library. Keep an eye on our calendar for similar events throughout the year. 🥰
