The “cherry on top” fabricated out of 1/8th inch steel. The chimney cap. This is the top to my Christmas tree. Someone will get to enjoy this home and I’ll get to enjoy the fruits of my labor every time I go ski party time pow at Bachy.

Cheers to all the people who strap on bags, don a helmet, climb a ladder, or drive a load. If we didn’t have people that didn’t give a s**t when the weather turns bitter cold or claimed the work was just too hard, we wouldn’t have our beautiful cities or the homes and buildings we inhabit. Sometimes old school is better. In using some of the new polystyrene preformed pans, I’ve found on second story homes the noise of water hitting the floor in the shower can be quite loud. Mortar is a tried and true method for building up the perfect surface to tile on and providing a solid surface to absorb noise. Adhering membrane tomorrow for the perfect waterproof barrier.
