III. SUSTAIN ✨

The final panel in my triptych 12,000.

This bronze piece represents endurance — the steady, ongoing work of sustaining a community through consistency, compassion, and care over time.

Built entirely by hand from thousands of individually cut and painted elements, the surface carries a heavier visual rhythm and warmth than the previous panels. The deeper bronze tones were intentional: grounded, resilient, and reflective of the strength required to continue showing up day after day for others.

Throughout the process, I kept thinking about the unseen labor behind nourishment — the people preparing meals, organizing resources, volunteering time, and creating spaces where others feel cared for and welcomed. This piece became a reflection of that quiet persistence.

Together, the three panels — I. Nourish (gold), II. Distribute (silver), and III. Sustain (bronze) — explore nourishment not just as food, but as dignity, connection, and collective support.

This series was created for NOURISH, an upcoming exhibition benefiting , which provides 12,000 meals to the Central Oregon community each month.

Thanks and ❤️ and

II. DISTRIBUTE ✨

The second panel in my triptych 12,000.

This silver piece represents movement, exchange, and the ways care travels through a community. Nourishment is never created in isolation — it moves through hands, kitchens, volunteers, conversations, and shared effort.

Built from thousands of individually cut and painted elements, the surface shifts subtly with light and perspective, reflecting the rhythm and energy behind consistent acts of service. The repetition within the piece became a meditation on connection — how small actions, repeated over time, create something far greater collectively.

Silver felt like the right material language for this panel: reflective, fluid, and constantly changing depending on how it’s viewed. To me, it represents the exchange between giving and receiving, and the invisible networks that hold communities together.

This piece is part of NOURISH, an upcoming exhibition benefiting , which provides 12,000 meals to the Central Oregon community each month.

Thanks to and for your collaboration and community support! 🤍

I. NOURISH ✨

The first panel in my triptych: 12,000.

This gold piece represents presence, warmth, and the beginning of care — the moment nourishment is offered.

Built entirely by hand from thousands of individually cut and painted elements, the work reflects the quiet accumulation of small acts that sustain a community over time. No two pieces are exactly alike, mirroring the humanity behind every meal served and every person supported.

For me, gold became symbolic of dignity and generosity — not extravagance, but the kind of value created when people consistently show up for one another.

This piece is part of NOURISH, an upcoming exhibition benefiting which provides 12,000 meals to the Central Oregon community each month.

Thanks to and for collaborating and creating this event! 💛

I’m in a bit of an exploration phase right now.

Some days it all feels really clear — like I know exactly what I’m making and why.
Other days I’m just following the thread and seeing where it goes.

This piece feels like somewhere in between.
A little intentional, a little intuitive. Swipe left for details.

Yesterday I had the privilege and pleasure of attending aka GG’s workshop “Splash, Stamp & Stash: Creating Altered Papers for Collage & Assemblage”
with a lovely group of artists!

It was so fun to have a creative play day with others and learned a lot!

This is one of the new techniques I learned - excited to put the new skills into practice! Thanks GG ❤️
