Research shows that learning how your brain and nervous system process pain can help reduce pain and improve sleep.
Why this matters for your recovery:
🧠 Calms your brain: Understanding pain can help reduce your body’s pain alarm.

Diagnosed with spinal stenosis and wondering what to do next? 🤔
Good news: surgery isn’t always the first step.
Research shows that conservative care, including chiropractic care, targeted exercise, and rehabilitation, can help reduce pain, improve walking, and support a better quality of life, especially with mild-to-moderate cases. 🙌
While surgery may be appropriate for more severe cases, many patients can benefit from trying non-surgical care first. Talk with your healthcare provider about the treatment approach that’s right for you.

Is limited midback mobility contributing to your shoulder pain? 🏋️
If your mid-back isn’t moving efficiently, it can lead to a compensation pattern in which your shoulder has to move more.
Temporarily, this might be okay, but over time, it can lead to overload and shoulder pain.
Which is why it is important to not only evaluate and treat the shoulder but also the mid-back. 🔎
Whether you are experiencing shoulder pain while playing baseball or pickleball or when reaching overhead, we are here to help!

Is a stiff SI joint secretly straining your hips? 🦴
Your sacroiliac (SI) joint connects the base of your spine to your pelvis. It’s built to absorb shock and allow subtle, crucial movement.
When one joint stops moving properly, neighboring joints pay the price! A recent study found that fusing the SI joint increased the risk of needing a hip replacement because the hips had to absorb all the extra mechanical load.
Even if you aren't facing joint surgery, keeping your pelvis and spine moving properly is essential for healthy aging and protecting your surrounding joints. 💪

What is proprioception? 🤔
Think of it as your body’s internal GPS. It tells your brain exactly what your joints and muscles are doing at any moment.
For people dealing with neck and jaw pain, the signal often weakens. It’s like driving with bad cell reception. Your brain isn’t receiving clear positioning data, which can lead to pain, tightness, and compensation patterns.
The good news is that chiropractic adjustments can help restore proprioception in the muscles and joints. This helps restore normal function and reduce pain. 💡

“Exercise snacks” are short bursts of movement you can fit into your day, whether it’s a quick walk, a few squats, or some stretching between tasks.
Even small amounts of activity can add up toward the recommended 150 minutes of exercise per week and provide meaningful benefits for your heart, muscles, and overall health.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s finding simple ways to move more throughout your day. 🙌

Your ankle pain is gone, but does it still feel wobbly? 🦶
A lot of times, people measure their injury by their pain level. Once the pain is gone, the injury is healed. However, that doesn’t mean that the function has been restored.
After an ankle sprain, it is common to feel that the ankle is unstable when returning to normal activities. This is why strengthening and balance exercises are so important, not only for returning to activities but also for preventing another ankle sprain. 💪
So if you sprained your ankle, make an appointment for an evaluation to determine which exercises you should do.
