HISTORY OF COBA
Chartered in 1972, the Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA) is a 501(C6) not-for-profit founded to help benefit its 600 member companies in Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Gilliam, Harney, Hood River, Jefferson, Malheur, Sherman, Wasco & Wheeler Counties. Today, builders, subcontractors, suppliers and other related businesses from throughout Central Oregon make up the Association’s diverse membership, and join forces to represent a wide range of industry interests. The Central Oregon Builders Association is an Independent Builder Association that supports the Oregon Home Builders association. One of the most respected trade groups in the state, COBA offers its members a wide variety of programs and services. COBA MISSION STATEMENT
To represent the building industry before government and the community, to promote high ethical standards within the building industry, to provide service to its membership and to defend the opportunities of home ownership for all.

A very exciting day for the future of Central Oregon’s skilled workforce! Our friends at Heart of Oregon Corps have officially opened their new Central Campus. 🙌
Years of work, partnerships, and immense buy-in from the community have created a safe, welcoming place for young people to learn and grow.

Something worth celebrating! 🎉
COBA was glad to join Bend-La Pine Schools and Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity as they broke ground on affordable homes for school staff. The people who serve our community every day deserve the opportunity to live here, too. 🙌
