It is what it is straight up or upside down. We can only pray for a great outcome.
Aside from the more physical muscular benefits, inversions are believed to improve brain function, release neurotransmitters, balance hormones, and release endorphins. So here I am again🙏🏼

There’s only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.
What does alignment bring to the forefront in my life? My life feels easy.
What makes me feel aligned? A state of living in harmony with myself, my values, my goals and the world around me. A sense of being centered and balanced everything is flowing with ease.
Awareness plays a deep part of our alignment. When you align actions and our choices you naturally feel more connected. Inversions help me feel more aligned.

Teaching can look like many things. The commonality in my scope of practice is mindfulness, sustainability, knowing your why, and enjoying what it is that you are doing. My biggest draw is Pilates, and from there walking, posture, Health Coaching, meditation, and restorative yoga. They all stem from being present. I teach and treat one like the other. Teaching meditation these past four weeks I talked about being mindful and what that might look like: journaling, walking out in nature, listening to soft music, listening to a teacher guiding your practice, and paying attention to your breath. Whatever that looks like to you being present and observing without judgment is a good start. Meditation like other modalities that I teach doesn’t need to look a certain way. I often share about a Zen teacher I met in the early 90s Cheri Huber. A colleague of mine and I walked out from our sitting practice and both at the same time said, “I want to be like that”. At the time neither of us knew what “that” was. I have now grown to know it is being present in anything and everything that we do. My passion to teach others and motivate others invites one to discover themselves in so many ways. I so appreciate and feel honored with those that I have had the opportunity to learn and study with. I can respectfully call them mentors and friends. Big thanks to for her knowledge and passion for the work she shares. My posture class like all of my other teaching is based on her teachings from her book Centered. Such a sweet union with whom I studied and received my first Pilates certification with in 1994. I feel totally blessed to be able to call these strong talented women my friends. Such light..
