Tracee attributes her success to the passion she has for the news, sports, music and entertainment industries. She has provided entertainment news for Fox’s KPTM News in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as dished up entertainment news and celebrity gossip for ABCs KGUN 9 Morning News in Tucson, Arizona. In addition, for five years, Tracee’s familiar voice was heard in the San Francisco BayArea on 98.1 KISS FM Radio with the Renel in the Morning Show. Tracee’s community work includes: becoming a Champion Ambassador for Every Kid Sports and Storytime Reader for the Deschutes Public Library’s Read Rhyme Romp program. Tracee’s fun time include: White Water Rafting, Astrobiology, Horseback Riding, and as a Foodie, checking out all the cool Eats around the town! Currently, Tracee is a full-time Weekend Anchor and Reporter for KTVZ - News Channel 21.

The Akawa Butte Fire, near Akawa Butte, approximately 9 Miles Northwest of Crooked River Ranch, in Deschutes and Jefferson counties in Central Oregon, continues to burn hot and heavy.

All three evacuation levels remain in effect.

The fire has burned 27,222 acres, with 5% containment.

Earlier this week, I captured this incredibly bright and brilliant
'orange' sun; mixed with the wildfire smoke, the light refraction gives the sun an orange-red tint.

It was shocking to see it in real time.

A large number of storm cells passed through Central Oregon on July 15th 2026.

Overall, the area covered by Central Oregon Fire Management Service and the Oregon Department of Forestry received more than 2000 lightning strikes.

In the ensuing days, over 85 fires have dotted the landscape and stretched resources thin.
