FREE Office Goodies, "Bones", Educational Materials & Kitchen Stuff
Hello friends!
The Environmental Center is doing some fall cleaning and got a pile on our deck of goodies:

We ended an epic summer in true Jack Johnson fashion by harvesting sunflower seeds, connecting with our community, and belting “MAKING BANANA PANCAKES” under the night sky.
Thank you Jack Johnson and the team at All At Once for donating to our school gardens program and helping us raise over $22,000 for our grant program. With their help we raffled off 2 tickets to the Jack Johnson concert, and community members like you donated for a chance to win!
We think every kid in Central Oregon should have access to a garden, and Jack thinks so too!
👀 GREEN TOUR SNEAK PEEK!
Tomorrow is the big day! Start your tour at the brand newish Environmental Center in downtown bend! Grab a cup of coffee provided by Strictly Organic Coffee Co. (bring your mug!), explore our new building, and then take off on your self guided tour around town! If you wanna do the bike tour with Bend Bikes they will take off at 1pm from The Environmental Center.
We have so many amazing sites all over Central Oregon, you can tour 1 or all 10, up to you!! We’ve heard rumors of cake pops and goats to pet— safe to say you will get to see more than just the most sustainable homes!
Classic nonprofit asking for volunteers last minute 💅🏼 but for reals, if you wanna spend 2 hours helping staff put together chairs and other little bits and bobs around the new office send us a message! Sparkling water and good vibes is all we can provide ✨
Max’s first week as our brand new Operations Manager has been filled with everything from renting a U-Haul, to setting up new systems to get the newly remodeled Environmental Center up and running!!
Stay tuned for the final move in… we CANT WAIT to be back in our building 😭

Thank you Ballers & Brews for not only joining our new Dish Program to bring reusables to Central Oregon and reduce food service waste, but for sponsoring our All Staff Fun Meeting!
Every month our team spends a “staff meeting” doing something fun, and this month pickleball was exactly what we needed to peel our eyes from our screens and move our bodies 💪

The Environmental Center is all shiny and… kinda new!!! Our remodel is almost done and we are sharing our brand new(ish) facility on the Green Tour!
