Out of the blue it lit up the the dash with warnings about the Pre-Collision System and Adaptive Cruise Control. This caused even basic Cruise Control to shut off. After correcting the angle of the Front Radar and Calibration all systems are back to full capacity and ACC works great.

This Honda had no dash lights or trouble codes but the Adaptive Cruise Control was not working correctly. It would follow too close and was very erratic. We found the sensor was pointed down and to the left. Once it was properly positioned and calibrated then everything worked like new again.
These Advanced Driver Assistance Systems don’t always know if they’re off and won’t necessarily set codes, which is why proper calibration is very important.

Toyota this time. Forward camera, radar and 360 surround view calibration after collision repair. These systems can be out of calibration without setting any codes or dash warning lights. It’s good to see local shops treating these systems seriously and getting the necessary calibration done before returning the car to their customer.
