As some friendly reminders

💛we don’t walk if the AQI is above 100
🧡it’s a 1.25 mile loop so it you go 1/2 way, you’ll have to go the rest. There are moms walking at all different speeds too!
💛 bring a stroller and a carrier just in case
🧡bring sunscreen, water and maybe a snack

We’re so excited to announce our newest offering, infant and child CPR classes with our ongoing effort to serve the community we love.

Our next 6 week postpartum series starts June 17th. Classes are held from 10-12 at the Hanai Center every Wednesday.

Each week we discuss a different topic related to motherhood such as intimacy, community building, body image, our relationship with our own mothers. Our favorite part? Watching friendships build and confidence go up.

This class is for moms with newborns up to 4 month olds.

Central Oregon Birth has startedup the dad’s walk again!

Prodromal labor can feel like a mental game.

Contractions start to feel real. You think “this is it”… and then everything slows down or stops.

It’s frustrating, exhausting, and honestly one of the most misunderstood parts of late pregnancy.

But your body isn’t failing you — it’s preparing.

This phase is often about baby getting into a better position and your cervix getting ready for the real work of labor.

If you’re in it right now:
rest, hydrate, and don’t burn yourself out too early.

Central Oregon Birth is excited to announce the start of our doula mentorship starting this summer. This 6 month program will include weekly group calls, mentor calls, interview skills, networking and marketing.

This group will intentionally be kept small to be able to focus on and grow your skills in a small cohort.
