New Staff Spotlight 🔦 Meet Kari Mertz, our new Community Operations Lead at Work-Collective!

Kari brings a wealth of experience in events, operations, and member experience after spending years in the tech industry supporting C-level executives and leadership teams. After visiting Bend for over a decade, she officially made the move in 2024 and launched her own executive training and coaching business, Evolved Alliance.

When she’s not helping keep things running smoothly around the space, she’s also behind 🍪, her cottage bakery serving up pastries, brownies, cookies, and other treats (including vegan + gluten-free options). You can catch her at the this summer!

Outside of work, Kari loves skiing, biking, hiking, and board games.
