There’s something incredibly special about watching a fox mom with her kits.

The way she dotes over them, nurses them, checks on them, and seems to look at each one with this quiet admiration… it feels like a moment most of us are lucky to even witness. Wild, untamed, and yet so deeply gentle.

To me, it looks like love. It looks like care. It looks like a mother giving everything she has to her little ones in the only way she knows how.

That connection is exactly why I created my Fox shirts — not just because foxes are beautiful, but because they represent something wild, clever, tender, and full of life.

For anyone who connects with these little wild families the way I do, you can check out the Fox shirts here:

Almost 10 PM and still out on the water.

That last bit of light hanging over the islands, the sky glowing, the water calm, and killer whales moving through it like they belong to the sunset itself.

Tired, salty, probably a little cold… but honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to moments like this. This place is unreal.

World Oceans Day hits deep for me. The ocean has shaped my life since I was a kid getting scuba certified at 12 years old, falling in love with the wild mystery beneath the surface. From the places I’ve been lucky enough to dive, explore, and photograph, to where life has brought me now—taking people out into marine environments to connect with whales, wildlife, and the raw power of the sea—water has always felt like home.

For Wake Up To Adventure, today is about gratitude. Gratitude for the rain-soaked Pacific Northwest, for the massive dorsal fin rising through the downpour, for every wild moment that reminds us how alive this planet really is. The ocean gives us wonder, connection, and perspective—and it deserves our respect, our protection, and our voice. Happy World Oceans Day. 🌊🐋

When you’re riding the Washington State Ferries, don’t forget to look beyond the horizon. 👀

Out here in the San Juans, every crossing holds the possibility of something unforgettable — golden light, island silhouettes, and sometimes, a local legend rising from the Salish Sea.

There’s nothing quite like traveling from island to island and realizing you’re sharing the water with orcas. Sunset ferry rides just hit different in Washington. 🖤🌊

What an incredible morning with the TO49A's! In March 2026, the T049A's were spotted with a new little calf, thought to be TO49A "Nan's" seventh calf! This new little calf might be stealing the spotlight at the moment but TO49A6 will always be one of the most beloved calves of the Salish Sea for their dramatic underbite and super feisty spirit!

Have you seen this family before in the Salish Sea? For the true Orca lovers out there be sure to check out our WakeUpToAdventure Orca Shirt!!

It’s wild to witness a massive breach like this especially when it looks like the humpback is breaching higher than the mast of the sailboat in the distance. While a slight optical illusion, this giant truly is getting about 35 to 45 feet out of the water. Absolutely mind blowing 🤯!!
