I bought a boat. 🚢
Meet my 1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.
A few fun facts about this land yacht:
• It’s about 22 feet long (for reference, a Dodge Challenger is only around 16 feet)
• The 472 (7.7L) big block V8 makes about 375 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque
• Expect roughly 8–10 mpg on a good day 😅
More reasons this thing is wild:
• The 472 was one of the largest engines GM ever put in a passenger car
• These cars were designed to feel like you were driving your living room down the highway
I bought it knowing it would likely need a LOT of engine work, and let’s just say the 472 is liking at a full rebuild.
I’m definitely not a mechanic, but I’m super excited to dig into this project and learn as I go. We’ve already made a ton of progress tearing into it and figuring out what’s going on inside the engine.
This is the start of the Caddy rebuild series.

Finally got to shoot a fun rgb set at night with the perfect car for it. Loved getting to mess around with such an iconic car to create some awesome color shots!

A listing shoot is about helping buyers feel comfortable buying sight unseen.
We focus on capturing everything you’d want to see if you weren’t there in person:
• full exterior walkarounds
• interior details + condition
• engine bay + under-the-hood shots
• cold starts and idle clips
• honest detail shots (the good and the wear)
The goal is simple:
clear visuals, no guessing, and real confidence before the first bid is even placed.
Just popping in with a quick update —
we’re deep in automotive listings this month and bringing on a ton of new non-auto clients.
Busy, grateful, and honestly really excited about the mix right now.
Sorry not sorry 😌

Listing photos vs. creative shoots — what’s the difference?
When you’re selling on Bring a Trailer, your photos need to do more than just look good — they need to accurately document every inch of the car. These are your “listing photos,” and they’re focused on transparency: wide shots, undercarriage, engine bay, interior, close-ups of imperfections — all captured in True Tone with no crazy editing. Buyers want to see the real car, not an Instagram filter.
Creative shoots are where we lean into aesthetics — dramatic lighting, rollers, moody tones. They tell a story.
We do both, but when it’s time to sell, we make sure your listing photos meet the standards of BaT and help your car stand out for all the right reasons.
