The 2026 Race Season is quickly approaching. We are always looking for partners and people interested in helping out for the year, either financially, or with the pit crew. Don't have a mechanical background? You'll fit right in! 🤣 You just need to be able to drive a four wheeler, laugh a lot, and be able to stay out after the sun goes down! It's ok if you can't commit to all the time, each night helps!
Our 2026 schedule will be released soon!
Send us a message if you are interested!

Day 2 results from the ND nonwing nationals. Started 3rd in the qualifier, finished 6th, which put us in the non qualifier race.
Started 3rd there, and was trying to find anything that the leaders weren't finding. Track was rubbered up and wasn't much for passing, and ended up 4th.
Disappointing weekend for sure, but we got faster each time we were in the car, and this was only the 3rd night in the car for me this year. It is hard to race with the best without that seat time.
On the positive- the car is running great, and is all in one piece, so we've got a good start on next season. Looking forward to May 2026!
Thanks to our partners and fans for having patience with us during this trying summer.

See you soon!

Here's an update from Day 1 of the ND Nonwing Nationals.
We qualified very bad (27 of 34), and that put us in a bind right away.
The good news was that we started on the pole of the heat, which we lead about 5 of the 10 laps or so, before settling for 3rd.
In the Amain, we started 9th and finished 9th, of 18.
I'm getting more comfortable in the car each time we are on the track, and the fast way to race is being on the edge of control. I'm still looking for the "edge", but we are getting faster each time out.
We were the 17th point getter tonight, and the top 12 lock in for tomorrow's championship. That means we will start 3rd in the 1st qualifier, with the top 4 moving on to the big show.
Keep your fingers crossed that luck is on our side!
Thanks to my family for their help, and to partners that help so much- Jason Braunhausen of 218 Realty , Don Raabe , University Plains Speedway- your support means so much!

Results from last night were not what we were looking for, but it was good to be on the track again.
Heat, started 1st and ended 7th. Car had plenty of power, but car just slid all over the track.
Feature, started 13th and ended 11th or 12th, the scoring was off. We had some good laps, but just weren't consistent enough to gain ground.
The engine is a beast! After driving a tired engine for a while, a fresh one needs lots of finesse, and that is going to take a few nights to conquer. Thanks Jamie Dickey and Zach Olson for a great engine and putting it in the car for me!
Next weekend is the Nonwing Nationals, and we will have to decide if we run it or not. We definitely want to compete, but we are not sure if we can do it with the lack of track time this summer. Stay tuned.....

It runs! Driver has to shake off the rust in a hurry, we start P1 in the first heat!

It's Raceday!

If anyone is interested in helping me out tonight, please let me know. No experience required, just need to be able to laugh, enjoy life, and have a desire to have fun. Helpful if you can drive a 4 wheeler!
It has been a long, quiet summer, until now!
If you don't know, I ended up with a herniated disk in my back. While this was all happening, a new motor was being built after our season opening disappointment.
We also had a family vacation planned this summer that took priority over racing (we went to Hawaii!).
We will be back in the car this Saturday at Hibbing Speedway with the Northern Renegades Sprint Car Series ! If you are interested in helping out for the night, please let us know, we'd love to have you on the crew!
If you are in the stands, we'd love to visit after the races, come on down!
See you Saturday!!!

Our next entry! He was one step off the podium last season! Chad season has been slowed due to an off-track injury. He will be looking to put it on the box during nationals weekend!
Driver: Chad Wulff
Home Town: Bemidji MN
Number: 67
Chassis: Maxim
Engine: 5.3 LS
Home Track: Grand Rapids Speedway
Years Raced (Non-Wing): 5
Good news, the motor is in the car and running! More good news, the back is feeling much better! The itch to get on the track grows more every day.
However, we will not be racing in Superior tonight with the Northern Renegades, as the car won’t be ready. We had hoped to go to Devils Lake tomorrow with the Western Renegades, but that is looking not likely.
Now the bad news, Alex’s team made the state baseball tournament next week, so we will be missing those races while we enjoy the limited time we have left watching him play baseball. Go Woodpeckers!

Well folks, we have an update after waiting what feels like forever.
First, the good news: a new motor is being put in the car as we speak! This has been an unfortunate process, but I learned many years ago, “Never rush the engine builder”!
Now the bad news, Chad injured his back and is relegated to bed/couch for a bit. When he is ready to go, we will be sure to update our schedule for the rest of the summer.
Thanks Zach Olson and Jamie Dickey for the help and hard work!

Here's an update for everyone. We have decided to have a new motor built. It should be ready in a couple of weeks. We will let everyone know when we are close to ready to race again! Thanks for your patience during the past few weeks. There was almost nothing that could be salvaged from the other motor, it was almost completely destroyed!
