A huge thank you to everybody who came out to the grand opening celebration for North Haven Tiny Home Community, we hope that this village will provide shelter for years to come, and provide a model that other cities and counties can use across the country to help more people out of homelessness.
For those who missed out, you can see the celebration for yourself!
Thanks to everyone, the donors, the volunteers, the city government, and most of all the residents of the village who built this place with their own two hands.
HomesNOW is ready to do more and we look forward to future villages and what the future holds!

For those who are interested in what happened to the old Swift Haven units.
Come join us in action! We will be tackling some projects at the Tiny Village project this Saturday August 2nd starting at 8am. We will be sealing deck material, leveling buildings, grading and leveling deck areas, and building decks.
We could use a couple of flat shovels, a drill or two, levels, and a hydraulic car jack if you have one on hand.
Our team lead Chuck M will be on site by 8 am. We’d love to see you there.
Bring water, sun screen, and sun glasses. Come ready to make a difference.
See you at 205 W Fir St, Mount Vernon!
Just a quick update on the status of the progress for finishing up the build of the North Haven Tiny Home Community new units. In Summary, the first 15 are totally complete, with the 23 units that were brought over from Unity Village, that gets us to 38.
We have 4 more ADA Units that are under construction, once that's complete, that gets us to 42.
We have capacity on-site for 48-50 units.
It costs about $6000-6500 per unit to build more, and we're trying to get the rest of them done as quickly as we can, funds permitting.
If you'd like to Donate to HomesNOW or sponsor a house, go to:
https://homesnow.org/donate/
If you want a commemorative plaque that will be displayed at the village indicating that you helped, that's cool too!
Or send a donation to:
HomesNOW! 1441 St. Paul St. Bellingham, WA 98229
We still need your help to see this project to completion, so we can build the next village and help more people.
Thank You!
