There’s an alchemy that happens inside a good song. There is something that happens inside a good song. Jenner comes from a family of river guides.

Here's a video from our day recording track 1, "Lorraine."
Stream the new EP wherever you stream, or throw us some love and buy it on Bandcamp: https://jennerfox.bandcamp.com/album/my-dad-was-in-a-band
About this eclectic EP:
Featuring some of our most "which CD is the ___ song on" songs from post show merch table conversations.
It starts off with the title track, "Lorraine," a rocker embracing the competitive middle schooler ethos of "My Dad is cooler than your dad."
Track two, "Delores," is a groovy meditative instrumental track from the "Anything" studio sessions.
Track 3, "Moey" also from the "Anything" session is based on a mostly true story of a highly precocious and rather unlikely "3-year-old" who sells jokes at a crunchy music festival.
The EP concludes with live versions of "Someday" and "Drive" from our album release tour in May.
We'll be on the road next weekend celebrating this release, and performing some Paul Simon music. I hope you enjoy the new tunes, and I hope to see some of you in Seattle, Tacoma, Leavenworth, and Portland.

Some good news:
My Dad’s book, “Let The Water Do The Work” is published!
I’m feeling much admiration for my dad today. He taught us to love rivers, to put water behind our ears and ask the river for safe passage, to stick our tubes behind rocks and let the eddy water turn the boat, to follow our intuition and walk around when the inner light wasn’t green. Dad and mom drove us to the river summer after summer, and well, let the water do the rest :)
In the words of New York Times bestselling author, , “Perhaps the only thing more impressive than Fox’s rowing resume is the manner in which he seems to have poured every ounce of his insight and experience into an ode to the magic of moving water and its limitless capacity for polishing not only the rocks that impede its progress, but also the people who are drawn to—and held by—its beauty.”
You can order “Let The Water Do The Work” today on Amazon. All proceeds from the book will go towards river conservation.
I just returned from two weeks on the Futaleufu River in Chile, another river passed down from my pops.
He put an incredible amount of time and heart into writing and rewriting. It’s a triumph, and a love letter.
Im hosting two “A Song A Week” virtual songwriting workshops in February!

“Oh Boy” is out today. Two songs from two of my favorite writers: and . Prine signed Reeder to his label, after listening to Reeder’s homemade mixtape in a piece of fan mail. I got to see Dan Reeder play last Spring, and his song “Beachball” knocked my socks off. In fact most of his songs removed my socks.
We’ve been on the road for the last 11 days singing Prine songs each night, and his words are swimming around in all of our heads; his wisdom, his wit, his wacky. Each night and play “I Remember” everything duo, the last song that Prine recorded before passing in 2020.
Oh Boy is our take on “Beachball” and “I Remember Everything,” and a little piece of fan mail to two heros.
