The Kulshan Chorus is comprised of everyday people—like you—who love to sing! We hold auditions twice a year. Join us!

We are committed to music education and spirited performances celebrating the common bonds of humanity through music. The Kulshan Chorus is Bellingham's cross-cultural multi-generational singing group that celebrates diverse musical heritages. Musical selections are drawn from world music to new compositions. This eclectic mix brings an awareness and celebration of our place in the world and the family of humankind.

We are saddened by the passing of longtime Kulshan Chorus singer Joan Henning at the age of 97. Joan was a beloved member of the alto section and her devoted daughter drove her to rehearsals even after she could no longer drive herself. Her family says that Kulshan Chorus “continued to nurture her soul in ways that we cannot express.” RIP Joan - we miss you.

Today, members of Kulshan Chorus attended the North Sound Music Community Choral Festival, a new event put on by the Peace Arch Community Chorale and Male Ensemble Northwest in Blaine, WA. It was an exciting day of music, learning, collaboration, and friendship, culminating in a free showcase concert at the end. Thanks for having us!
