Lately I’ve been in a bad headspace. Negative thoughts, thinking about the worst case scenarios, I even woke up in the middle of the middle of the night from a panic attack. Symptoms of burning the candle from both ends. What helps me get out of the negative mantras? Bikes with the crew. I make art and I ride bikes. This is my art bike, I call it Neon Patina. I spent many hours painting and sanding, and then painting and sanding again, then cleaning and painting/sanding some more. I never knew exactly how it would turn out, I had an idea, but like every other of my wild hair brained projects, I just tried it and hoped for the best. There’s some magic in just taking a leap and hoping for the best, always a bit of bravery and a heap of fear too. There’s more to the story of that I’ll be explaining in the next few weeks before the festival here in Bellingham mid July, so stay “Tuned Up” for more posts that tell the story of how this bike came to be. If you don’t know about the mountain bike festival yet then I’d highly recommend checking it out and grabbing some tickets, come see this thing in person and meet us!!!
