Joining us (vocally) in Dreamland - Britt Lower

We’re incredibly excited to share that Britt Lower will be joining this year’s show as a featured vocal performer.

While Britt will not be appearing live in person under the big top, their voice and creative presence are woven throughout Dreamland.
Britt has been a dear friend to many members of our cast and a genuine supporter of contemporary circus and live performance. Her short film Circus Person was even filmed inside our very same tent now touring Washington this summer - which feels less like coincidence and more like the circus doing what it does best.

Outside the tent, Britt is widely known for their Emmy-winning work in Severance and many other creative projects in film and theater.

It means a lot to have someone who cares so deeply about this art form helping shape Dreamland with us ❤️

Who’s excited for opening night?
Shoestring Circus is back on the waterfront for another season of spectacular shows.
This all-human circus brings a classic big top experience to Washington State. Rooted in Bellingham, the show tours each summer to Olympia, Puyallup, Vancouver, and Port Townsend. Featuring world-class circus artists, acrobatics, and theatrical storytelling, Shoestring Circus blends vintage charm with a modern, imaginative production under the tent.

Joining us in Dreamland - Eric James

Eric is a multidisciplinary artist skilled in juggling, acrobatic dance, artistic design, clown, and youth circus instruction. They have toured all three seasons with the Shoestring Circus, featured frequently with the Bellingham Circus Guild, performed internationally as part of comedic duo Figmentally, on the water with Flotsam River Circus, and have appeared in Seattle’s famed Moisture Festival. They spent 15 years as a lead instructor and director of Circo Latino Circus Institute of New Mexico, and contribute to the Bellingham arts scene as a Lookout Arts Quarry board member and lead producer of the local mainstay Sh’BANG arts + music + circus festival.
