I had the privilege of making my grannie laugh since I was a little girl. I can remember how her eyes lit up when I would come into the room and it is that kind of attention and love that makes a little southern girl confident that she can go after anything!

Be intentional about lighting your eyes up when people come in the room. You could quite possibly change their entire life💗🍃🌱

How gardening is being used for healing and therapy Barbara Lawson created a mobile nursery called The Oasis which helps direct people to where they can meet her in the dirt for one-of-a-kind gardening therapy sessions. NBC’s Gadi Schwartz reports for TODAY on the healing nature of gardening.

I have already received several gifts and promises🍃🌿

I praise God because the boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.

I considered a field and bought it; out of my earnings I planted a vineyard.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made, my cup runneth over…

My children rise and call me blessed…

My husband has full confidence in me and lacks nothing of value.

I have peace that surpasses all understanding because my creator will never leave nor forsake me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Now, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

And here’s my “ why’s” minus one big son and the sweetest grandbaby ever! When I tell you my heart is full of love and gratitude for being able to raise these beautiful souls. They are clearly GROWN UPS and I get to reap the benefits of their friendship now. I also get to hear echoes of my lectures spill out from their lips which cracks me up🤣🤣

Nowhere near perfect yet kind, loving, creative, and adventurous. Each of them so different, attentive, and funny. I THANK GOD for the privilege of being their mom and now cheerleader.

We call each other higher when we mess up and isn’t that what this parenting thing was supposed to accomplish? They support me and I support them! They will hands down be my best contribution to this world.

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for- and if you dare to dream of meeting your hearts longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you'll risk looking like a fool -for love - for your dreams- for the adventure of being alive...
