Although the contribution of ancient Greeks in the fields of philosophy, fine arts and sciences is widely known, there is relatively limited awareness of the technological advances of the time. The goal of the Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology in Athens is to shed light on this largely obscure aspect of ancient Greek civilization and to show the public that the technology of the ancient Greeks just prior to the end of the ancient Greek world was remarkably similar to the origins of our modern technology.

🎬 Award-winning actor Hugh Laurie has joined the cast of the acclaimed Israeli thriller TV series “Tehran”, that is filming its 3rd season in .
The first two seasons of “Tehran” were also filmed in Athens, with the support of the Greek National Centre of Audiovisual Media and Communication (ΕΚΟΜΕ), Athens Film Office and Athens Development & Destination Management Agency.
