Did your 🐈 💦 in your car seat?? Harnesses are tricky to clean, so please follow your manual when it comes to cleaning your car seat and contact your manufacturer for their guidance. You might be able to replace the harness, but you might need to buy an entire new car seat. And your cat might need to wear a diaper moving forward.

During this morning’s live with West Coast Kids | Canadian Baby and Kids Store people were asking about the safest position to install the car seat in the backseat. Although this video is over a year old, it is worth repeating this information all the time. So here you go… I even made a chart lol.

Here’s a little throwback video about booster seats and when it is OK for your child to move into a seatbelt. I’ve received a few messages about a booster seat post floating around the Internet today, specifically that this post says it is safe for your child to move into a seatbelt only as long as they meet that state’s law. I do not think this is safe whatsoever, and the conversation requires a lot of nuance specifically based on the child and where that family lives. For example: in Florida it is legal for your child to leave a booster seat at six years old. Unless they pass the five step test, this is not safe. A lap and shoulder belt have to fit a child properly to safely do their job. I hope this helped some people out. Thank you for coming to my TED talk
