Canvas & Code STEAM

Race car engineering challenge in STEAM Club!

We've been learning about force, gravity, friction, surface area, and air resistance as we design ways to slow our cars down and stop them before they cross the blue line!

Lots of building, testing, making changes, and trying again. That's what engineering is all about!

Want to join the fun? We still have room in our weekly STEAM Club: Wednesdays 3:30-5pm and Thursdays 10-11:30am! Sign up for a class and come create with us!

Hi Families, I’m looking for a little feedback!

We are considering adding a kids’ woodworking/building program.

The idea would be small classes where kids get to use real tools safely and learn skills like measuring, drilling, sanding, assembling and problem-solving while building projects they’re actually excited to take home.

Before I put a whole program together, I’d love to know if this is something local homeschool families would be interested in.

I’m considering ages around 7/8–12, with small groups and lots of hands-on help.

Would your child be interested in something like this? And would you prefer a one-time workshop, a short 4-week series, or an ongoing class?

I’d love any feedback! Thanks!
