Defensive Carbine 2 at Freedom Fi****ms & Defense on November 9th!

Come learn defensive schuting concepts using carbines and then test your knowledge and skill against live opponents! There is no live ammunition and all training will be held in the close-quarters force-on-force arena that includes a three bedroom schute-house and plenty of rooms and hallways. The concepts are skill-based and most of them will be applied through semi-controlled scenarios. There are pre-requisites that must be met before attending this training. The next three classes are selling seats. If you want one, get in while you can. All classes are being hosted by Freedom Fi****ms & Defense right here in Beaumont.

There are still some openings for Intro to Ay Argh Fidteen (trying not to trip any algorithms), where you'll learn nomenclature, how to clean and maintain it, how it functions, and the basics of how to use it.

Managing Violent Encounters is a somewhat new offering, where you'll learn about intermediate force (unarmed, less-lethal, etc.). Give yourself more options than only talking and lethal force.

There are also a few seats left in Defensive Car-bean 1. There, you'll learn basic mechanics and engagement techniques for using your car-bean in defensive situations.

Ever thought about testing your carbine skills against a live opponent (in a controlled environment)? Defensive Applications Training Group's Defensive Carbine 2 is happening on May 18th at Freedom Fi****ms & Defense!

It's a four-hour, force-on-force class that introduces basic tactical concepts into carbine shooting mechanics. While there is no live-fire during this course, prior, professional rifle/carbine training is required. New Defensive Applications Training Group classes scheduled at Freedom Fi****ms & Defense!!!

If you've ever wanted to learn more than just how to shoot at paper (which is necessary, I might add), give these a look.

Defensive Carbine 2 is completely force-on-force (FoF), and builds on basic defensive carbine mechanics. This class is where tactics are introduced and tested against opposition.

Holistic Home Defense is also FoF, but goes deeper than just how to react to a home invasion. It provides the knowledge and mental tools to help deny or deter criminal intruders in the first place.

Citizen Team Skills is the final chapter in standard FoF series. This class is not to teach you how to conduct a raid. It introduces the complexities of defensive encounters while you're with your family or friends.

Most of the training you see at shooting ranges covers how to react to dangerous encounters. The Introduction to Situational Awareness class is designed to help you learn how to AVOID those encounters in the first place!

The goal of this class is to introduce students to the craft of situational awareness, to build and enhance their understanding of potentially dangerous events, and to provide basic skills for avoidance-rather than reaction.
