November 17 is National Take a Hike Day, encouraging us to get out there and hit the trails. I am blessed to live in a place where I get to run on the AT whenever the mood strikes, which is often! The Appalachian Trail (A.T.) is over 2,190 miles long, passes through 14 states, eight different national forests, six national park units and numerous state parks, forests, and game lands.

Me & my ghoul out at !

It’s that time of year again: the amount of daylight is getting less each day. Whether you are exercising, walking the dog, or playing with the kids, you need to both see and BE seen.

You are the light of the world! Let your light shine before others!

Happy Independence Day to my connections throughout the USA!🇺🇸

Just like driving, “running too fast for conditions” can get you in trouble. Resist the urge, and live to run another day!

If you don’t set the bar too high, it’s easy to get over it!
