We've had so much fun over the last few days of orientation and are thrilled to welcome this talented group to campus. Now it's time to dive into our first course module and get to work! Be sure to follow the journey ahead here and with the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business.

We had a great time kicking off our 2026 MBA Launch week with some introduction icebreakers and an overview of the journey ahead. A special thank you to our friends and Flores alumni at Emergent Method for stopping by to share valuable career insights.

For our next Flores global immersion experience, we're trading the humid Louisiana summer for a brisk South American winter. ❄️

Our EMBA cohort spent the weekend traveling to Buenos Aires, Argentina and exploring their new cultural surroundings. Yesterday featured several business visits to learn more about key elements of Latin America's third-largest economy, including TRF (Transfarmaco SA), a prominent logistics and supply chain firm, and local wine bar Pain et Vin, host for a discussion on Argentina's thriving wine industry.

Next stop: Rio de Janeiro!

We changed things up last week by stepping out of the classroom and into the warehouse. Flores MBA students volunteered for a day of service at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, helping package and prepare essential grocery deliveries.

We are proud of our students for prioritizing community impact alongside their studies; way to lead by example!

Congratulations to Flores MBA students Riley Mueller, Rachel Trimble, and Mason Harris, who all received the "Most Valuable Mentor" award from the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition (BRYC) at their recent mentor celebration night – way to geaux!

A team of Flores students hit the road last weekend and traveled to College Station for the 13th annual SEC MBA Case Competition, hosted by the Mays Business School. This event challenges business students to solve real-world problems, with Dell Technologies serving as this year’s case client.

We’re thrilled to share that LSU advanced to the finals and placed fourth overall! Congratulations to Ian McManus, Jake Leitz, Luke McGibboney, and Elia Brudaglio – who also earned the Best Q&A Presenter award in our division – plus coach Luke Cashen. 🏆
