America 250 on the River brings a stacked lineup to Downtown Baton Rouge, with live performances from Amanda Shaw, Rockin Dopsie Jr., John Schneider, and Wayne Toups.

It’s a family-friendly day of live music and food vendors marking 250 years of American history, and when the last set wraps up, you're already in the perfect spot to witness WBRZ Channel 2's Fireworks on the Mississippi at 9 p.m. sharp. 🎇

Bring your chairs, picnic blankets and coolers for this one because trust us, you don't want to miss it! 🎉

Looking for something to do this Fourth of July? Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser is throwing America 250 on the River, a free, family-friendly bash at Repentance Park from 2-9pm, and the lineup is stacked. 🌭🎆🇺🇸🎶

2pm - US Marine Corps Forces Reserve Band
3:15pm - Rockin' Dopsie Jr. & the Zydeco Twisters
4:45pm - Amanda Shaw
6:15pm - Wayne Toups
8pm - John Schneider

At 4:30pm there will be a special patriotic reading of the Declaration of Independence. The night wraps up with WBRZ Channel 2's fireworks show lighting up the Mississippi at 9pm.

It's all free, so bring the family, grab a spot along the river, and celebrate America's 250th in style. 💙❤️🤍
