This Tuesday a health event is coming to North Baton Rouge!

This weekend we had the pleasure to serve educators and staff of the school system at Senator Regina Ashford Barrow 'Educators R Essential' event. It was great to continue our investment into young people and the people who support their growth and development!

Over the last few weeks, we've supported:

✅️ School-aged students by contributing to over 250 school uniform pants
✅️ 167 Student-parents with supply filled backpacks to help with their post-secondary education
✅️ Teachers, administration, and staff members who are vital to the future of our youth

Thank you to our Board Chairman Kermit Johnson, IV for coming out and serving our table & board commissioner Terra Barrow-Williams for supporting Senator and our table as well! For everyone who was able to attend, thank you for allowing us to serve and we are looking forward to a safe and productive school year for everyone!

Let's talk about measurable impact! We are proud to provide a brief summary of our impact for two back to school events that we sponsored with Fashion Stop LLC, Restore Church, and Study n' Play. It is our pleasure to serve the families of student-parents who often don't take care of their own school needs as they try to care for their children's back to school needs, and school age children who needed uniform pants. We've heard the community feedback about children often staying home from school because of the lack of having an adequate uniform and we were happy to contribute to a solution!

A busy Scotlandville thoroughfare is getting a new look as community leaders focus on pedestrian safety.

We are proud to invest in two back to school events in which we help them provide school supplies for students-parents who are in post secondary education! Often those students-parents will go without the things they need to provide for their kids, we are happy to support the effort to close that area of need gap!
