Our youth have enjoyed another week atCamp Character sponsored by EBRSO and Boy Scouts. Shout out to Deputy Lane who connected us to Deputy Paine who provided daily transportation to Clinton.

Please join us in congratulating Judge Caulette Jackson Guillard on her investiture to the East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court.

Judge Guillard served as President of the Gardere Initiative for more than a decade, providing leadership and helping guide the organization through years of growth and change. Even today, she continues to volunteer her time in support of our mission and the Gardere community.

Congratulations, Judge Guillard, on this new chapter of service. We wish you all the best in your role on the Family Court bench!

Registration Freedom Bells is a national bell-tolling initiative taking place at 12:00 noon local time on July 4, 2026, commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The program is developed by the Military Order of the World Wars.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Youth Advisory  Board attended “A Brilliant Thing “: a humorous play about su***de at First United Methodist Church, along with Erin Pourciau, I CARE executive director.
