KITTEN NATION ‼️

The countdown is ON! The Southern University Laboratory School proudly presents 2026 Homecoming Week, KITTENS IN WONDERLAND: A LAB HOMECOMING LIKE NO OTHER

We’re taking a trip to Wonderland for a week filled with school spirit, creativity, tradition, and plenty of Kitten pride! Each day brings a new adventure, and we want EVERYONE to join in!

🪞 Monday: Through the Looking Glass
👯 Tuesday: Tweedledee & Tweedledum
👑 Wednesday: Royalty in Wonderland
⏱️ Thursday: Turn Back the Pocket Watch
💚💛 Friday: SPIRIT DAY!

Swipe left to see the details, dress guidelines, and inspiration for each day. Start planning those outfits NOW because we want to see our Kittens show up and show OUT all week long!

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

We’re stepping Through the Looking Glass to kick off Homecoming Week!

It’s Opposite Day at The Lab! Mix it up with mismatched colors, backwards clothing, inside-out pieces, or your most creative opposite look. The stranger the combination, the better… as long as it stays school appropriate! 👀

Let’s see who can turn Wonderland completely upside down!

TWEEDLEDEE & TWEEDLEDUM DAY

Grab your best friend, classmate, sibling, or your whole crew because Tuesday is Tweedledee & Tweedledum Day!

Find your match and coordinate from head to toe! Whether you’re twinning with one friend or matching with the entire group, we want to see The Lab filled with doubles, triples, and squads!

ROYALTY IN WONDERLAND

Wonderland is getting a little more elegant! Come dressed to impress as we celebrate Royalty in Wonderland and prepare for one of our most cherished Homecoming traditions: the crowning of Miss Southern High.

Bring out your polished and picture-ready looks because Wednesday is your chance to show us how Kittens do royalty!

Then join us at 6:00 PM in the F.G. Clark Activity Center as we celebrate our Royal Court and crown Miss Southern High during our 2026 Coronation.

TURN BACK THE POCKET WATCH

The pocket watch turns back, and now The Lab is going BACK IN TIME!

Forever in Our Hearts. Forever a Kitten!

On Friday, September 11, 2026, we lost a fellow Kitten, Charon Diggs, a beloved member of the Southern University Laboratory School Class of 2027.

Charon was a valued part of our Southern Lab family, and her presence will forever be remembered by her classmates, teachers, friends, and the entire school community. During this difficult time, we stand together as one family, surrounding Charon’s loved ones and one another with compassion, strength, and love.

In honor of Charon’s life and memory, the SULS Class of 2027 will host a Candlelight Vigil on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM on the grounds of Southern University Laboratory School. We invite our Southern Lab family to join us as we come together in remembrance.
