BR SOLDIER OUTREACH

We are deeply heartbroken to report that our fearless leader and founder Christy Smith has passed away.

The upcoming Clay Shoot fundraiser has been canceled, but plans are being made for the November care package stuffing and shipment to continue in her honor. We will post updates here as we know them.

Please pray with us for the family, friends, and volunteers who cared for her and her mission.

🇺🇸 RELOAD 4 HEROES EVENT UPDATE 🇺🇸

We want to share an update with our community.

Due to recent circumstances and the loss of our founder Mrs. Christy, the Clay Shoot event has been canceled. Our hearts are with her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her during this difficult time. ❤️

While we won’t be holding the Clay Shoot, we are planning a Care Package Stuffing event in November. 📦🇺🇸

Details for the November event will be shared at a later date once everything is finalized.

Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and for helping us honor those who have made a difference in our lives and in the BR Soldier Outreach family.

🇺🇸❤️

Please help us honor Christy Smith, the founder and heart behind BR Soldier Outreach. 🇺🇸❤️

Christy has poured countless hours, years of hard work, and so much of her heart into this ministry. Her mission has always been simple: make sure our deployed service members know they are remembered, appreciated, and loved. Through BR Soldier Outreach, care packages are sent to men and women serving far from home, bringing them comfort, encouragement, and a little piece of home when they need it most.

Even while facing serious health challenges, Christy is still thinking about this ministry and the people it serves. She has worked tirelessly on Operation Reload 4 Heroes, and her desire is to make this year’s event the best one yet so BR Soldier Outreach can continue serving our military heroes.

Please help us carry Christy’s mission forward. Register a team, become a sponsor, donate, or simply share this post. Every bit of support means more than you know.

Let’s show Christy just how much her years of dedication, love, and service have meant to this community. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Today, our hearts remember.

September 11 is a day we will never forget — the lives lost, the families forever changed, the bravery of our first responders, and the heroes who answered the call to serve our country.

On this 9/11 Day of Service, we can honor their sacrifice by giving back to those who continue to protect the freedoms we hold so dear.

❤️🤍💙 Today would be a meaningful day to sign up for Baton Rouge Soldier Outreach’s Operation Reload 4 Heroes Sporting Clay Tournament.

Your support helps us continue sending care packages, encouragement, and a little piece of home to our deployed service members.

🇺🇸 We remember the fallen. We honor the heroes. We support those who still serve.

Happy Labor Day from Baton Rouge Soldier Outreach! 🇺🇸

Today, as we recognize the hard work and dedication of men and women across our country, we also want to say a heartfelt thank you to our service members—past and present—who have sacrificed so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We are especially grateful for our deployed troops who are spending this holiday away from their families and loved ones. Your courage, commitment, and service do not go unnoticed.

From all of us at Baton Rouge Soldier Outreach, thank you for serving our country and keeping America strong. ❤️🤍💙

Happy Labor Day! God bless our service members, their families, and the United States of America.

A huge THANK YOU to the amazing young adults from the Friends & Family Bowling Group and Game Day Group, sponsored by Aetna, for supporting Baton Rouge Soldier Outreach! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

This wonderful group spent their time wrapping 300+ decks of cards that will be placed in care packages and sent to our deployed servicemen and women. It may seem like a small item, but little reminders of home can mean so much to those serving far away.

We are incredibly grateful for their hard work, kindness, teamwork, and willingness to serve others. You truly made a difference, and we appreciate each and every one of you!

Thank you for helping Baton Rouge Soldier Outreach continue our mission of sending a little piece of home to our deployed heroes. 🇺🇸📦💙
